Arrangement Template 3 Question
«

Why does the outline on Arrangement Template 3 change in wording? The only real difference that I can see is that the Exordium is added, but the wording in the proof and the conclusion changes. Why not keep the wording as it was in Arrangement Template 2?: Support A, Support B, etc.; III. Conclusion A. Thesis without Enumeration B. Summary 1. Proof 1, etc.)
Template 3 says:
A. Proof 1
1. Support one for proof 1
2. Support two for proof 2
etc.
III. Conclusion
A. One-sentence Recapitulation (Thesis and Summary)

Great practical question! I can't think of any compelling reason for the change in the proofs.
I do like the use of the phrase "one sentence recapitulation" in the conclusion becuase students need to be encouraged to move from simply restating the thesis to summarizing it and placing a greater emphasis on the amplification, but in looking at it now, it sure seems that this would be a change more fitting in the amplification lesson.
I'll note this variation for the 4th edition! Thank you very much!

I saith "thank you" to you both!
Sometimes I did things in the early editions that were utterly brilliant beyond human reckoning and then forgot why. I'm sure this is one of those cases.
